He amazes me!

It constantly amazes me how God will open his Word and literally put your finger on a passage you need to hear. I always think "No way did this just happen!" and then it does. Over and over again. It honestly hit me tonight how powerful He is. Psalm 19 and the book of Job knocked my socks off!

If you ever feel like you are suffering or don't know what to do with your life- read these passages and be reminded how powerful He is. Read these passages and realize that sometimes your struggles are for the mere purpose of getting you back in his Word.

Oh, and if you really want to relate? Read it from The Message. It will blow you away like it did for me!

For anyone who has not read The Message, check it out. It takes the verses of the Bible and translates them into modern day meaning. Here is an example:

Psalm 119: 71-72 in the New King James says:

⁷¹ It is good for me that I have been afflicted,

That I may learn Your statutes.
⁷² The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

Psalm 119: 71-72 in The Message says:

My troubles turned out all for the best—
they forced me to learn from your textbook.
Truth from your mouth means more to me
than striking it rich in a gold mine.

It just kinda makes things a little more relatable I guess? Try it. It is good for a supplement on the Old Testament books that are so hard to understand sometimes.
